Interpretation and Translation Services
Cosmos is a leading NDIS registered provider for interpreting and translating services. We offer interpretation in more than 10 languages. If you feel it is difficult for you to communicate in English, Cosmos will take care of that with our highly educated and trained team members. There is ongoing training and upskilling for our interpreters to make sure they meet standard interpretation and translation criteria.
Cosmos highly recommends face-to-face interpreting where the conversation is complex and/or when the participant needs to make a decision, for instance in planning and implementation meetings.
The interpreter is needed when:
- The participant`s English (or nominee, carer or family member) is limited and unlikely to be sufficient for a complex conversation.
- The participant (or nominee, carer or family member) requests one.
- Participants have a disability that limits their communication.
